NUR 373 - Pathophysiology And Pharmacology For Nursing Practice II


Description: Course 2 of 2: foundations of human pathophysiology and pharmacology for nursing practice. Emphasis is on further expanding the knowledge base required for a safe, evidence-based practice of medication administration in nursing. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the interrelatedness of pathophysiology and pharmacokinetics related to medication administration including advanced dosage calculations. Course 2 focuses on applying the pharmacokinetic principles and knowledge of the pathophysiologic processes to the practice of medication administration for specific drug categories and body systems. Letter grade only.
