Description: This course is an introduction to the field of emergency management. It provides a foundation for those just entering the profession, or practitioners enhancing their skills to function effectively within the emergency management system in the United States. Students will be introduced to the principles and practices of emergency management, including the concepts of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery. Letter grade only.
