Applied Human Behavior
Description: Theories of deviance from sociological, psychological, and social work perspectives are discussed. These theoretical perspectives contribute to understanding the micro, meso and macro implications of deviant individual and group behaviors. Emphasis is given to individuals, groups, and specific behaviors and how they are labeled by society. Students will be challenged to look at their own assumptions and biases. Letter grade only.
