Applied Human Behavior
Description: This course evaluates theories of criminal deviance from a sociological perspective. The most predominant literature and theory on criminology today will be considered. Topical issues of gender, mental health, media, hate crime, cyber-crime, terrorism and warfare are discussed. Course work will use peer reviewed journals to explore current research and real world global concerns facing criminologist, law enforcement and governments. Letter grade only.
