Applied Human Behavior
Description: This course assists students in understanding and applying evidence based practice in crisis and trauma settings. Students have the opportunity to learn about the most current DSM-V diagnoses, distinguish between acute trauma and post-traumatic stress diagnoses and best practice interventions. Students will be challenged to perceive trauma and the people who experience trauma through a holistic lens. Letter grade only.
