Justice Studies
Description: This course provides an overview of developments and trends of the U.S. Criminal Justice System, the philosophy of criminal law, theories of deviance, and the nature and extent of crime in America. Students will examine contemporary issues defining criminal law, the enforcement of law, policing strategies, judicial systems, sentencing strategies, correctional practices, and emerging forms of justice. Letter grade only.
