Environmental Sciences
Description: Studies the relations between humans and the environment, such as life (e.g., animals, plants) and ecosystems, natural resources, and climate change. Students will gain a scientific understanding of the natural world around them; examine effects of current events, policies, and personal lifestyle on the environment; and explore solutions to current environmental problems. (Note: This liberal studies course does not meet any requirements for a major or minor in environmental sciences.) Letter grade only.
