Description: Reading and critical analysis of texts in existential phenomenology, as represented by thinkers such as Husserl, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Sartre, Gadamer, Derrida, and their followers. This course fulfills NAU's junior-level writing requirement. Letter grade or pass-fail. Prerequisite: 3 hours of philosophy coursework, or instructor's consent.
