Description: This course provides hands-on practical experiences with animal bone identification, summary and quantification of faunal data, and in-depth study of the theories and methods used in zooarchaeology. Students will ascertain how faunal remains assist with reconstruction and analysis of human behaviors throughout time and explore the relationships between humans and animals archaeologically. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
