ME 454 - Finite Element Analysis


Description: Practical approach to finite element analysis of solid mechanics and heat transfer problems; bar, beam, isoparametric, axisymmetric, shell, and two- and three-dimensional elements; modeling considerations; computer applications using state-of-the-art software. Co-convenes with ME 554. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
