Description: Students will explore various theoretical and methodological aspects of elementary school curriculum, as well as the role of assessment in the teaching and learning process. Curriculum content and organization, as well as instructional design, methods and materials for grades K-8. Candidates develop skills, knowledge and dispositions necessary for teaching students with exceptionalities. Professional responsibility and ethical conduct are integrated into this course. This course contains an assessment that must be passed to be eligible to register for student teaching. Letter grade only.
