Description: Graphical and quantitative description of data; binomial, normal, and t distributions; one- and two-sample hypothesis tests and confidence intervals; simple linear regression and correlation. This course will fulfill either the Mathematics foundation requirement or a Science Applied Science liberal studies distribution block requirement. If you have already fulfilled your Mathematics foundation requirement, this course will fulfill a Science Applied Science liberal studies distribution block requirement. Credit cannot be earned in both STA 270 and STA 275. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
