Description: This course will provide you with principles and strategies for teaching adolescents with exceptionalities, providing research-based instructional strategies in reading, including for students with dyslexia, and delivering appropriate accommodations, modifications, or universally-designed interventions through effective and developmentally-appropriate instructional design and lesson planning. The course includes an overview of relevant laws and regulations and the process of developing and implementing individualized education plans. Co-convene with ESE 530. Letter grade only.
