Description: This is the first half of two required sequential courses in the Professional Foundation Year. The Ecological Systems Model, strengths perspective and planned change processes applied to Generalist Social Work Practice are introduced and explored. Throughout this course, students examine social work values and ethics and consider how issues of diversity impact client systems. Letter grade only.
