ANT 265 - Indigenous Perspectives In Anthropology
Description: This course examines the relationships among colonialism, anthropological research, Indigenous people, and the work of Indigenous anthropologists. Throughout the semester we will examine the role of anthropology in furthering colonial agendas and critiques of colonialism by Indigenous scholars. The course will also survey the work of contemporary Indigenous anthropologists. Letter grade only.
