CSD 375 - Speech Science

Description: This course will provide a basic understanding of the processes involved in normal speech production and perception. Content will include the physics of sound, sound spectrography, the physiological bases of respiration, voice production, and resonance of the vocal tract, acoustic and physiological phonetics, perception of consonants and vowels, and the neural control of speech. Letter grade only.
