Description: This course will cover the principles and interpretation of clinical epidemiology and health care informatics, with a specific application to athletic training. Methodological principles underlying evidence-based practice in clinical research will be covered. Topics include population-based prevention and screening, community health assessment and intervention, social determinants of health, quality of health care, health systems, and global health.
