Description: The aim of this course is to improve the basic deliberation and communication skills of students through a better understanding of the role of ethics in public perception and policy formation surrounding climate change adaptation. Through this course, we will create an ongoing dialogue about climate change adaptation and mitigation that focuses on the importance of understanding the intertwined issues that reside at the intersection of ethics, science, and public policy. Letter grade only. May be repeated for up to 9 units of credit.
