Description: This course will explore possibilities for producing performative artworks outside of the studio and in the field. Students' projects go beyond the mere making of art objects. Students will create on-site temporal art projects, using existing situations. Examples include socially-engaged art, performance art, participatory art, new-genre public art, interventionist art, and relational art. Letter grade only.
