ECI 321 - Elementary School Curriculum
Description: Candidates plan developmentally appropriate instruction that includes the pedagogies for teaching various content areas. They design classroom contexts for learning, and create appropriate assessments, in light of the theoretical frameworks concerning curricular knowledge. Candidates differentiate instructional designs to meet the needs of diverse students in the classroom, including modifications and accommodations. Students facilitate the establishment of the learning environment including classroom management while taking into account professional responsibilities and ethical conduct. This course contains an assessment that must be successfully completed in order to move toward student learning. Letter grade only.
