Description: Introduces school counseling in K-12 schools; provides an overview of current trends, historical perspectives, roles and functions, multicultural competencies, credentialing, national standards, research, and ethical considerations. This course contains an assessment that must be passed to be eligible to register for the internship. Letter grade only.
