Civil and Environmental Engineering
Description: Infrastructure engineering is an increasingly global profession. Through this course, students will begin to gain an understanding of the impacts of different engineering, historical, cultural, social, economic, ethical, environmental, and political conditions on the design and construction of various infrastructure projects outside the United States. In addition, this course will help students prepare for future careers in engineering firms and academia as well as in the non-profit arena, including local, state, federal, tribal, and international governments and entities. This course includes international travel; destinations and course fees to be determined per course offering. Instructor consent required. Co-convened with CENE 519. Letter grade only.
