VC 205 - Introduction To Animation

Description: Studio course. This is the first class in the Animation emphasis and lays the foundation for student success. Through a series of projects, you will be introduced to linear and nonlinear storytelling. You will look at linear messaging for effectively creating motion as it relates to story. You will learn the essentials of storytelling to create impactful animations. You will also begin to understand the use of color and 2d design principles to create professional animations. Lastly, you will develop skills related to typography and visual vocabulary within time-based animation projects. Letter grade only.
