Physical Therapy
Description: This course is an in-depth study of exercise physiology as a foundation for physical therapy practice. It will integrate clinical and functional anatomy related to the cardiovascular, pulmonary, and lymphatic systems. The course will explore the basic concepts of diagnostic pharmacology, and nutrition as they relate to movement. The concepts of motor learning related to learning movement and exercise prescription will be discussed related to patient cases. Letter grade only.
