CSD 552 - Aphasia And Right Hemisphere Damage
Description: This course will prepare graduate speech-language pathology students to work with clients with aphasia and right hemisphere damage (RHD). Students will obtain the knowledge and skills to evaluate, treat, and educate/counsel individuals with language and cognitive-communicative disorders. A review of functional and efficacious approaches to therapy will be completed in this course. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: Successful completion of a neurological foundations of speech, language and hearing course and admission to the CSD graduate program.
