ESE 423 - Assessment And Eligibility Of Exceptional Children

Description: Evaluation of school-aged students with mild/moderate disabilities to include basic concepts of measurement, data literacy, procedural safeguards, and professional responsibilities, communication with stakeholders, and the team approach to assessment. This course is required for educators seeking certification in mild/moderate disabilities and contains a key assessment that students must pass to be eligible to register for student teaching. Letter grade only.
