GSP 538 - Geographic Data Analysis

Description: This course provides theoretical and practical skills for analyzing social and natural world research questions using geographic data. Students will gain a deep understanding of the underlying assumptions upon which spatial analytic methods rely. Students will further gain proficiency in applying software to answer these types of questions. More broadly, students will develop and hone problem solving and spatial thinking skills. Successful completion of this course will prepare the student to be a GIS analyst. Letter grade only.
