CSD 505 - Neurobiology
Description: This course provides an in-depth overview of neurological processes as they relate to human communication. Areas covered will include general organization and function of the central and peripheral nervous systems, ascending and descending sensory/motor pathways, and the relationships of these pathways to higher cortical function. The course will discuss and analyze the relationship of these systems to human communication. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: An undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology course and admission to the CSD graduate program.
