ENG 626 - Topics In Digital/Social Media Studies

Description: This course focuses on theories, critical concepts and methods related to social media. It offers a critical examination of the history, operation, ramifications, functions, use, and embeddedness of social media in all spheres of life. It is a critical reflection on social media, focuses on understanding their uses, and enables students to develop effective social media communication strategies. Letter grade only. May be repeated for up to 9 units of credit.
