EE 505 - Advanced Electric Vehicles

Description: The topics include architectures and technologies for electric, hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Specific topics include electric and hybrid electric drivetrains, energy storage, electromechanical energy conversion and power-electronic drives, vehicle-level modeling and control, batteries, and charging technologies. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab. Co-convened with EE 405. Letter grade only.
