DIS 606 - Legal Foundations
Description: This course will provide the student with a comprehensive introduction to postsecondary student disability law, including the requirements of the Americans Disability Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1073, and the Fair Housing Act. The course will provide students with a series of comprehensive frameworks, "analytical paradigms," and procedural tools for addressing the broad range of questions and situations they are likely to encounter when working with students in a Disability Resource Office. Letter grade only.
