BA 612 - Healthcare Economics And Policy

Description: Students will use economic tools to understand issues related to business including resource allocation, production and market structure, industry performance and government policy. The course provides you with an introduction to the fundamental concepts of health economics. Topics include the theory of insurance, the organization of health care markets, and an economic analysis of provider behavior (e.g. doctors, hospitals, and the pharmaceutical industry). Letter grade only.
