Description: NUR 353 is the second Applied Pharmacology course for the accelerated nursing student that builds upon NUR 352. NUR 353 continues to teach the classification, actions, and uses of pharmacotherapeutic agents, focusing on drug types not covered in NUR 352. Emphasis is on patient care and medication-based treatment, and nursing implications and responsibilities as related to pharmacotherapeutic treatment. Letter grade only.
