NUR 327 - Pathophysiology For Nursing Practice
Description: Drawing from foundational anatomy and physiology knowledge, this course will cover the study of molecular, cellular, and organ system alterations that contribute to and result from disease processes. Students will explore disease processes using a systems-based approach to understand epidemiology, risk factors, etiology, diagnosis, complications, and sequalae of disease states throughout the lifespan. Pathophysiology of disease states will be examined in relation to nursing process, clinical judgment, and professional nursing practice. Letter grade only.
