PT 695 - Contemporary Pt Practice 2
Description: This course introduces learners to the theoretical constructs of determinants of health, social determinants of health, health disparities, and health inequities. The theoretical constructs prepare learners to assess, intervene, and create positive changes in underserved, underrepresented, and marginalized populations as physical therapists. Learners develop the ability to understand, communicate, and interact with stakeholders at both an individual and population level and the relationship to their role in assessing and addressing personal and contextual factors to achieve optimal patient/client outcomes in clinical practice. Letter grade only.
