PT 701 - Movement Sciences 1

Description: This course is an in-depth study of the anatomical and physiological foundations of physical therapist practice and the clinical patterns manifested as a result of pathoanatomical and pathophysiological changes. The primary content areas are the anatomical physiological, biomechanical, psychological, and sociocultural aspects of human movement, human development, and physical activity. These foundational science and movement analysis concepts are applied through the ICF framework and a systems view of motor control to emulate clinical practice. Letter grade only.
