ANT 103 - Culture In Communication

Description: Culture in Communication explores communicative practices from a cross-cultural perspective, highlighting interaction as rooted in both local and global cultural contexts. Course topics include the evolution of language, the role of language in shaping power, race, and gender, and language endangerment and loss. The class emphasizes understanding how communication impacts us and the ways research can be applied to solve real world problems. Letter grade only.
