ANT 306 - Peoples Of The Southwest


Description: Peoples of the Southwest is an ethnographic exploration of sociocultural, historical, political, economic, and ecological factors influencing different groups of people in the US Southwest. It is designed to provide an understanding of stability and change among diverse communities, examining the ways they have shaped and continue to shape people's worldviews and interactions. This course prepares students for a lifetime of real-world interactions and careers working and collaborating with diverse people in the Southwest and beyond. Letter grade only.
