Parks and Recreation Management
Description: The purpose of this course is to expand awareness of and apply critical analysis to leisure beliefs and values within diverse cultures and social groups. Students will identify and address diversity markers and their influence on how leisure is experienced by people of varying backgrounds and abilities. This course will critically examine and articulate how recreation intersects with equity, inclusivity, and social justice for marginalized people in the United States. Letter grade only.
