ES 335 - African Americans And The Law
Description: This course focuses on the historical and contemporary social and legal construction of African Americans and the African American Experience. Included will be social/legal examinations of topics such as race, slavery, emancipation, Jim Crow, Civil Rights, citizenship rights, anti-discrimination policy, affirmative action, segregation, desegregation, and institutional discrimination. Letter grade only.
