Description: Survey of techniques for identifying patterns present in noisy signal and image data. Includes classifiers, discriminant functions, Bayesian decision theory, maximum likelihood, K-means, relaxation, neural networks, and machine learning. Co-convened with EE 443. Letter grade only.
