Description: The PSY 487C course is designed to provide an opportunity for students to hone the ability to evaluate and understand psychological science by learning and applying new critical thinking skills to material considered in previous coursework including myths in psychology, competing theories, current controversies, pseudoscience, replication, and real-world issues and problems. The course will support students in using guided inquiry to summarize, analyze, evaluate and synthesize content learned in previous coursework in order to become a critical consumer of psychological science. Letter grade only.
