Description: This course provides an in-depth examination of Hindu literature, from the early Vedic Period through the great epics the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, the Puranas, Tantras, and the non-sectarian devotional literature by surveying its features according to the categories of comparative religion, and attending to its historical development and internal diversity.
