Athletic Training
Description: This course examines the background of psychological theories and applications related to injuries/illnesses and subsequent rehabilitation of the physically active. The course is designed to develop the graduate students' ability to optimize rehabilitative efforts of injuries and illnesses of the physically active. Techniques such as social support, imagery, education, and modeling will be used. Eating disorders, substance abuse, and disability are included. Letter grade only.
