Description: This course reviews advanced topics in wireless networking including: communication protocols modeling and abstraction, physical layer design, medium access control, error correction methods, wireless network operations, data compression techniques, scheduling and routing algorithms, queuing theory, localization and topology management. Recommended: A previous course in the fundamentals of signals and systems, including continuous-time and discrete-time signals. Co-convenes with EE 436. Letter grade only.
