Description: This course combines contemporary research in climate science with the aesthetic imperatives of creative writing in prose genres. Students will plan, draft, and revise one long-form essay, short story, or book chapter that swings between the personal and transpersonal, the present and speculative/projective future, the local and global, and all while developing the emotional core of the writing. May be repeated with different topics, for up to 9 units of credit. Letter grade only.
