MAT 237 - Introductory Multivariable Calculus

Description: Fundamental concepts and techniques of multivariable calculus. Matrix and vector operations, the geometry of lines, planes, and surfaces, and the analysis of functions of several variables. Partial differentiation, linear approximation, optimization with and without constraints, and the evaluation of double and triple integrals using appropriate coordinate systems. Students may not earn credit for both MAT 237 and MAT 238. Letter grade only.
