MAT 401 - Methods Of Teaching Secondary School Mathematics I

Description: This course covers content, pedagogical and technological trends and issues related to teaching and learning numbers/operations and geometry/trigonometry/measurement in grades seven through twelve. Emphases are on the use and structure of numbers, number systems, operations; proportional reasoning; and models, representations, characteristics, principles, and visualizations of core concepts and shapes in 2D and 3D geometry. Letter grade only.
