Description: Review of fundamentals followed by an introduction to voice leading and harmonic progression with diatonic chords; non-chord tones; and small-scale form, including cadences, phrases, and periods. Note that MUS 121 is normally taken concurrently with MUS 131. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
