Description: How to conceptualize written diatonic melodies with some chromaticism before hearing them (sight singing) and transcribe the same into notation after hearing (dictation), and improvise with these materials. Note that MUS 132 is normally taken concurrently with MUS 122. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
